The Sprint Sling is a no-nonsense zip-top crossbody bag. While the name would lead you to believe it is to be worn exclusively as a sling bag, we actually designed it to be worn on the waist as well. The prominent feature on this one is without a doubt, the front window, which is shielded by a heavy duty semi-transparent ripstop fabric. whether you utilize it pragmatically by having your most frequently used items visible at all times, or for its flex factor by putting the latest and greatest iPhone in there, is entirely up to you. They say “the eye is the window to the soul”, but this window does not go all the way through, so you can still put your deepest darkest secret in the main compartment. Speaking of secrets, this bag also has one secret-stash pocket. We won’t tell you where it is cuz then it wouldn’t be a secret anymore.
Staying grounded to our cycling roots, external loops are provided to attach anti-sway cross strap (available later in July), or attach whatever else your heart contents. On the sides, the compression straps have been measured precisely to also be the perfect place to haul U-locks, or depending on where you live, they might also be called D-locks.

Great cross body bag in the 6L size range
I love this Sprint SL cross body bag. I’ve been travelling for the last 7 months and it’s the perfect day companion.
The 6L size is big enough without being too big. I can fit: a 32oz (~1L) Nalgene water bottle, sunglasses case, 20k Anker power bank, PowerBeat Pro, Kindle and smaller miscellaneous things (mask, travel-size sanitiser, lip balm, pocket sized tissues, puffer). The only comparable cross body bag in this size is the Chrome Industries Kadet Mini, but it’s more expensive and apparently has a weird centre of gravity when you carry it.
Regarding features and materials, I like 1) the hidden zipper in the rear mesh for my passport/wallet 2) compression straps for slimmer carry and locking my Patagonia shell 3) straps are nice, but I don’t see the value in dual adjustment 4) the yellow waterproof lining and mesh organisers are great to finding what you need.
I haven’t tested the waterproof claims, but I predict it will hold up well based on the inner lining.
The two flaws I’ve encountered are: 1) no keychain (I’ll probably sew one in myself) and 2) when you compress the side straps all the way for light carries, the bag becomes this weird capsule snap in which the mesh back no longer hugs your body (think adding straps to both ends of a rugby ball) - not a big issue though.
Overall, I highly recommend this bag and would love see how this bands expands. I think the big carry publications like Carryology or PackHacker etc don’t give this band enough airtime.
