The Perfect Urban Commuting Backpack

I’m a 24-7 cyclist and I carry my accessories and a change of clothing with me 5 days a week this Backpack is perfect. It’s a firm comfortable fit on my back and it has enough storage for my daily cycling grind to work. The bag does not slouch on my back like the other brands I’ve had. It’s not too big and it’s not to small either I love it.

A good one

Bought the Breakaway for a trip to Sri Lanka last year and then for general use on my Triumph Bonneville. It was and is a great bag. Stylish, well conceived, watertight if you roll it down tight and easy to throw on which is more of a big deal than you think. I got the Cobra buckle option in grey and get lots of comments. Functional, smart, perfect size and the middle zip makes it easy to get shit in and out of. Nice work LBB.

My favorite backpack

(reposting this from the 'Eclipse' breakaway review section because I think it is relevant here too)

Over the years I've amassed an embarrassing amount of backpacks: chrome, timbuk2, patagonia... But in terms of an all-around biking/commuter backpacks, this is definitely my favorite. It's big enough for a weekend trip but doesn't seem too bulky if you just have some bike locks in it.

At first I thought the zipper down the front was a bit of a gimmick, but I do find myself using it to load and unload the pack. Straps are comfortable (I'm a male, but my wife also uses it and feels the same way), and the two outside pockets are perfect for a phone and a wallet.

Two confessions: I cut off the outside cargo straps. I'm not a bike messenger so I don't need them. I also added velcro to the clear pockets on the inside because sometimes little things fall out of them (into the large pocket).

Overall: great, sturdy, stylish backpack. 9/10.

Daily driver for 2 years

Solid build quality, been using my bag regularly for 2 years with no issues. Its the perfect size for me, I used for work, day trips and also long travels. It's been with me on so many adventures, especially in 2019 when I backpacked with it for a month in India. This survived the desert and rest of India!

solid backpack

my second LBB bag after Echelon, I use it daily now for working.

this one is the most eye catching backpack ever, everyone asked me about this bag. So I simply recommend them to pay a visit to LBB website.

Often bring this bag for travelling, with 2-3 day clothes and all accessories.
Additional bottle pockets was useful for travelling.

Great Versatile Pack

Been using the bag for 8 Months

The first great point about this bag it's it's size. It goes from about 27-32 very easily. I'm student but I do a lot of traveling. I commend the bag for One-Bag Travel, it's quite spacious. It works great as daily carry as-well, even though it's a tad too big. The compression straps work to remedy the size issue though.

My main issues (nit-picks more like) are the straps, the padding gets very loose after about 4 months. I also think that the organization could be improved. I like the small pockets in the front but the inside pockets are too small, to hold anything more than cables or pens. I try to put things like harddrives or a mouse, but it usually gets compressed really rightly. Adding some mesh to the laptop panel would be really nice.

But all in all, I love this bag. It's rugged and strong. And it's made by people who love Bags, and thought fully designed this one. I look forward to their other stuff.
