At Life Behind Bars, we perceive graphic design as visual storytelling, aiming to engage, inform, and inspire. As a part of our team, you'll craft various creative assets for marketing and retail,  in line with brand standards. Additionally, you'll contribute to video production, handling both shooting and editing tasks across various formats. Your role also entails efficient project management to meet deadlines and attain desired outcomes. Furthermore, you should integrate trend intelligence and insights from historical and current markets into your design strategies and executions.


  1. Develop visually appealing designs that effectively communicate our brand message.
  2. Ensure all design work maintains a high standard of quality and consistency.
  3. Collaborate with team members to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
  4. Update and maintain Internal databases for designs, photography, and video.


  1. Helping the Art Director in translating business and marketing objectives into ideas that are clear, compelling, visually exciting, engaging, and consistent with the brand identity.
  2. Manage daily work orders with the Art Director. Set clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations on every project to ensure that every design deliverable has a good quality and standard.
  3. Stay updated on design trends and integrate them into projects.
  4. Create creative/marketing assets for promotions and campaigns in both electronic and print media.
  5. Ensure all visual content aligns with the brand's guidelines and objectives.
  6. Develop and execute creative photo & video concepts in collaboration with the marketing, creative, and product development teams.
  7. Plan, shoot, and capture high-quality photo & video footage both in-studio and on-location.
  8. Edit long form and short form videos as explainer videos, promotional videos, and social media videos, including adding graphic elements, music, sound, and visual effects (if needed) to enhance the quality of videos.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. A bachelor's degree in design, art, or a relevant major.
  2. 1-2 years of work experience in a design/creative role is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome.
  3. Strong graphic design and typography skills, with the ability to execute designs that align with brand positioning.
  4. Proficiency in design software, preferably Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and familiarity with at least one video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or CapCut) and After Effects considered as plus points.
  5. Familiarity with photography & videography equipment.
  6. Ability to perform effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  7. Exceptional attention to detail.
  8. A portfolio showcasing previous work.
