GRAPHIC DESIGNER

We’re looking for a highly talented and self-driven Graphic Designer with an exceptional eye for detail, taste, and storytelling. You’ll help define and evolve the visual voice of Life Behind Bars™, across both digital and physical touchpoints—from campaigns and content to product packaging and internal decks. Bonus if you love making short-form video content that turns heads and stops scrolls.

OBJECTIVE

Craft cohesive, on-brand visual content across various formats and platforms to support marketing campaigns, product launches, and storytelling.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Create on-brand, impactful graphics for social media, web, product launches, lookbooks, packaging, motion, and everything in between.
  2. Translate marketing strategies into cohesive visual campaigns and assets.
  3. Collaborate with our creative director, product team, and content creators to shape visual storytelling that feels fresh, human, and technically precise.
  4. Work across formats—static, motion, video, and experimental—and tailor visuals to platform, audience, and purpose.
  5. Contribute to the continuous refinement of our visual language and creative systems.
  6. Ideate, storyboard, and/or shoot short-form video content (for reels, TikTok, etc.) as a strong bonus.
  7. Stay on top of design trends, platform shifts, and new tools (including AI) to keep our visual output razor sharp.
  8. Own your deadlines, deliver consistently, and uphold exceptional quality across all projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. A standout portfolio that demonstrates taste, originality, and a high level of execution across various mediums.
  2. Proficiency in Adobe CC (Photoshop & Illustrator) or Affinity (Designer & Photo) and familiarity with motion tools like After Effects or Premiere Pro. 
  3. A sharp eye for typography, layout, hierarchy, and color.
  4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, idea-rich environment.
  5. Experience or interest in shooting/editing short-form video is a big plus.
  6. Comfort with AI tools like Midjourney, Firefly, ChatGPT, or RunwayML—and an openness to use them as creative accelerators while integrating them seamlessly into your creative workflow if needed
  7. Strong visual intuition—knowing not just what looks good, but what feels right for the brand, audience, and medium.
  8. Bonus: Experience working with lifestyle, tech, or outdoor brands.
