The Regular variant of the Transition Tote features a 210D nylon ripstop fabric with nylon webbing utility loops.
The Transition Tote is our most versatile pack yet. Its smooth transitions from tote bag to backpack, crossbody, or hand-carry aid in shifting between one occasion to another. Comes in 16l compressed and 21l expanded, it can take on the daily needs, yet when fully expanded can take on a 2 to 3 days trip supply. Despite being a tote, the Transition is still packed with features. It’s got a dedicated laptop sleeve up to 15 inches which is double-padded, anti-sway strap, floating pocket, MOLLE compatible loops, external carry capability, and many more. The technicality of the Transition tote is also versatile, meaning it can appear and perform as simply as a regular tote, yet when needed, it can morph into a highly technical pack. The versatility of the Transition Tote transcends on to the users themselves. The more you delve into it, the more you discover its versatility.

I’m a father to a 3 year old and I’ve found that a dump or tote bag is the best form factor for him but at times you also need a backpack because you might be carrying a child in one arm aomethjng else in the other so I’ll need to carry the bag on my back. At other times I need to pull out wet wipes or his snack box from the main compartment . Try carrying a child and unzipping a clam shell backpack and you’ll quickly see the problem . Sometimes we’re about to leave and he last minute wants his teddy bear. I grab it and throw it right in the bag in tote mode and go. The transition solves a number of these issues for me and has made things much more efficient and my life much easier. When you’re raising a child even these small stress savers can make a huge impact on your well being . And when I am not caring for him I can quickly replace his supplies with my quarter and half pouch and just throw them in the bag or attach to the exterior than head over to the cafe in my bike with my laptop in a dedicated compartment The flexibility and features I feel makes this the best convertible tote on the market right now.
