The Transition Tote is our most versatile pack yet. Its smooth transitions from tote bag to backpack, crossbody, or hand-carry aid in shifting between one occasion to another. Comes in 16l compressed and 21l expanded, it can take on the daily needs, yet when fully expanded can take on a 2 to 3 days trip supply. Despite being a tote, the Transition is still packed with features. It’s got a dedicated laptop sleeve up to 15 inches which is double-padded, anti-sway strap, floating pocket, MOLLE compatible loops, external carry capability, and many more. The technicality of the Transition tote is also versatile, meaning it can appear and perform as simply as a regular tote, yet when needed, it can morph into a highly technical pack. The versatility of the Transition Tote transcends on to the users themselves. The more you delve into it, the more you discover its versatility.
The X21 variant of the Transition Tote features a X21 by X-Pac® fabric in Slate Grey with laser-cut MOLLE compatible loops. It also has a ‘floating’ 210D nylon inner lining. With magnetic closure for easy opening and closing. Anti-abrasion bottom liner prevents water from sipping through when set on the ground. Water-repellent zipper for the laptop sleeve, Woojin® acetal (POM) parts, and Trimmers® metal hooks.

One of the best thought-out and well-made technical totes out there. This bag is a 97%/100 for me... the 3% that could have been done better, is the the stitching on the webbing loops for the shoulder strap hooks. I work as a design lecturer at university, so I carry a beefy 17" laptop + 220w charger, water bottle, drawing pads + tools, mirrorless camera + additional student homework etc, so my carries can easily get up to ~15-20kg at times. A box stitch or extra reinforcement to spread the load instead of the single line stitch across the webbing loops would communicate way more confidence in the connection's longevity and not distort the bag when under load. This won't be an issue to you at all if you don't use the shoulder strap addon or load up your tote like I need to. Solid design overall. High Distinction.
